A Bhakti Yoga Weekend

Quiet the mind and let the heart open while chanting in the tradition of Bhakti Yoga with Grammy-nominated chant artist Krishna Das, known to his fans throughout the world as KD

Because of KD’s down-to-earth presence, in this gathering of dedicated seekers and those new to the practice, you will feel as though you’re hanging out with longtime friends in a comfortable living room.

In between chanting, with gentle humor and a harmonium in his lap, KD humbly shares anecdotes from time he spent with Maharaji-ji in India, Ram Dass, and the Dalai Lama—stories about the seeker’s path paved by the same basic questions that stand the test of time: how do we live a good life, how do we become good human beings, and how do we deal with the fear we live and breathe every day.

Through call-and-response chanting, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, you will learn how to:

  • Open your heart through the power of mantra chanting and fill your whole body with the joy and ecstasy of connection with spirit
  • Experience the exponential power of prayer when done in a group
  • Break down who you think you are and connect to presence—the vast space that we are sitting in
  • Make space around your thoughts and reactivity so you get a conscious vote about how you experience life.

Whether you chant with KD often or this is your first time, come hear your own unique voice blend with other voices like the drop of water in the ocean. Return home with guidance and renewed inspiration for continuing the practice.
