“For me, it’s really important as a leader to be aware and to be conscious of how I am influencing others. I always go back to my core values. In Cherokee, our core values are living in harmony and balance. We believe that we’re not only connected to each other, but to everything that’s ever been and to everything that ever will be.” – Cynthia Ruiz

So, I have a big sense of responsibility to help my people and help the community at large.” – Cynthia Ruiz
